Based near Warminster, we are a father and son team.
Team Leader Tim Dews has been flying the Grob 109b for over 30 years all over the world. Tom Dews is the second pilot and went solo in the Grob on his 16th birthday as did his brother Ben. Matthew, the youngest of the three, not wanting to be outdone by his brothers, went solo in a glider at 14 as the rules had changed. We all fly gliders locally along with the motor gliders.
Tim and Ben import the Grob motor glider for customers all over the UK and run a composite aircraft repair business from the airstrip.
Airborne Composites ( the other half of Airborne Pyrotechnics ) developed the systems used in the pyrotechnic display over the last five years.
We can offer spectacular, quiet or loud, affordable displays with one, two or three aircraft, for weddings, garden parties and air displays.

2022 display costings are. £ 975.00 + VAT per aircraft + £ 2.50 + VAT per mile per aircraft one way from Warminster (April - October)
We use two aircraft to draw the heart for weddings but you can have one and no heart.
We can not display over houses or built-up areas.

I watched your display, initially in fear and trepidation, and then in wonder.
Well done it was fantastic and beautifully flown.
I hate air displays as I have witnessed too many accidents and lost friends unnecessarily and the thought of a night display in gliders was just too much.
But it worked well and, I suppose because of the light wing loading of the gliders, your manoeuvres were tight and close to the spectators.
Very elegant and impressive.

Just a quickie to say how much I enjoyed your displays. It’s the first time that I have seen your dusk display, and I thought that it was outstanding - the fuselage lights and fireworks are a brilliant combination (excuse the pun). I must say that the Twister looks very graceful and attractive in the air. I would also like to say that I was very impressed by the professionalism, safety and handling of the routine – really top class. I wish you all the very best for your display season.

Thank you so much for an incredible show up in the sky last night. All of us at Pythouse Kitchen Garden were amazed by the brilliance of your aircraft, it really was spectacular. It's incredible how quiet the aircraft is. It literally looked like a bird of paradise up in the skies. We were very impressed with how smooth the show was and, it left us all feeling very emotional!! THANK YOU so much for showing us what you can do it made our night!!! We felt very spoiled. Experimenting with a Jamie Oliver recipe this evening and a cold glass of white wine... May be a Kieth Floyd recipe... More like it‼️... When my wife called through to ask what all the 🔥 y noise was about... And it became clear when we went out side... There was an aviation genius at play, his display was plainly paid for by some one else but felt like it was for us... LED lights pulsing down the fuselage and fireworks bursting from the tips of his wings... Magestic swoops and loops ... Perfect patterns carved in the dusk sky... Aviation perfection... But the fish burnt... However that was a small penalty to pay. My other 1/2 has promised me a display for my 60th... Goodie
